Now that kinect has been around for a while, there are some kinect games for kids worth recommending. The new concept of kinect as a full body controller is so much fun and it makes it so easy for the kids to play games.
The top kinect game for kids from the initial installment of games is Kinectimals and it really is a must for any Xbox kinect owner.
Kinectimals is very enjoyable for little kids and children, their parents and animal lovers of all ages to build lasting friendships with some of the world's most amazing creatures. Just like real pets, your virtual pets will come running when they hear your voice, respond to commands such as jump, roll over and purr w when you scratch them behind their ears.I'm going to estimate age ranging from 4 - 13. There is a large selection of games to enjoy. This game has an 8.8 rating out of 10.
Adrenalin Misfits is loaded with fun as you have 7 different environments to play in. You can cross board through time, freestyle and variety of challenges using your skills and gaining experience along the way. This game has a 8.0 rating out of 10.
Joy Ride is the only driving and kart racing game initially bought out by Xbox kinect, it has built in massive jumps and full-body stunts to the classic kart racing action. With a host of cool features and game modes you can find your inner Andretti by going solo, pick up a co-pilot, or team up with your friends and family to take on the world. This has a 7.0 rating out of 10
It is fun, but whether it is worthy of the price remains to be seen. Ultimately I figure I will have enough enjoyment out of it to justify buying it and I think a lot of people are going to like this game.
The Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows You can play as Harry and you are on the run from the beginning, fighting for survival on a desperate and dangerous quest to locate and destroy Voldemort's Horcruxes. This time the danger is real. It's time to fight your life. This has a 6.2 rating out of 10.
Another couple of kinect games for kids worth a mention are Sonic Free Riders, with this game you turn, twist and jump, as you speed your way to the finish line. Use your entire body to take control of your hover boards and bikes. by grabbing a variety of bowling balls, traps and so much more to knock your rival's off-course. This has a 6.1 rating out of 10.
Game Party in Motion brings everyone's favorite party games directly into your living room and with no controller required you can jump right into the so much fun. You can choose from your favorite party games, like table hockey, ping cup, bowling, Darts, Pool Hall Party, Root Beer Tapper, and Double Racquets, this only has a 2.2 rating out of 10.
Finally coming in 2011 is Star Wars, Michael Jackson - The Experience and Child of Eden, Spongebob Squarepantsthe special effects look amazing in this game.
